Conversations, connections, and the neighorhood’s best pot of chili: all ingredients present at the first Mapleton-Fall Creek Unity Forum which was held on Monday, March 10 at Tabernacle Pres. on 34th and Central.
The large dinning room at that centrally located neighborhood church was filled with over 80 neighbors and neighborhood stakholds providing chatter, the freshness of new friendships, and the wonder of what might bubble up from these connections.
The next forum, which is called “Going Green”, will focus on conversations about lowering utility bills through environmentally safe practices, neighborhood beautification, and all things eco…to name a few. Going Green will be held at 6:00pm on Monday, April 14 at Broadway United Methodist Church (29th & Broadway). More details will come and, until then, enjoy these photographs from Arts & Roots!
